Minimum Funds Availability Increase

On July 21, 2010, President Obama signed into law the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, which in part, amended the Expedited Funds Availability (EFA) Act. The amendment to the EFA Act increases from $100 to $200 the required minimum amount of funds from a check deposit that must be available for withdrawal as of the business day following the date of deposit. The effective date of this provision was July 21, 2011.

NSFCU has taken the necessary steps to comply with this regulation on all deposit accounts.
